Approach
This is how we do it. From start to finish in 10 steps.

Nobody likes surprises at the end of a project. Not in large company, not in small companies. We have defined an approach that should limit or counter any surprises.

Nevertheless, we are all human and mistakes are bound to happen? Yes to the first and hopefully no to the second.

Our approach is not trail-blazing but efficient. You can see it on your right, and we are going to explain it briefly.

1. Requirements analysis
We will analyse your needs, your company, your business, your goals, what type of technology to use, etc.

2. Functional analysis
The information from the first step will allow us to create a complete project document that will also provide us information to provide you with a quote. We will summarize all the requirements and functionalities.

3. Basic structure
Once we have the green light, we continue by creating a basic structure (dry layout, nothing graphical) of the pages layout. This is mostly an internal phase. However, depending on the size of the project, it can be that we discuss this with you.

4. Mock-up homepage
Based on output from the first 3 steps, we can design and deliver a first mock-up or design of the homepage to provide you with a sense of the look and feel we will apply for your website. This can be successful from the start, but it can also turn out to be a dissappointment. We have to be honest with ourselves. However, your feedback and cooperation is appreciated and required and we continue until it is to your liking.

5. Design HTML pages
After your approval of the design, we will slice the design into the correct parts, create all pages in HTML (static, the functionalities won't work) and apply SEO best practices . This will give you an idea on how the pages will look.

6. Develop functionalities
Only when we have your approval on the HTML designs of all pages, we initiate the development phase. We will create the required functionalities on the front-end, apply the SEO best practices (e.g. url rewriting, etc.), work out the CMS.

7. Draft version
Step 5 and 6 are integrated into a first draft working version.

8. Testing
The draft version will be tested on all its functionalities by you and also by us. All bugs or mistakes are reported and we will execute all change requests. We stay in this step until we have a go for launch from the client, meaning we have a final version.

9. Go live
The final version will be made public and we will also add the Google Analytics code to all pages.

10. Support
From our experience, we have learned that the test phase does not always result in a bug-proof website. Some issues only arise when actually using the website for real. We remain by your side to resolve everything for the first 2 weeks live.
